This stately family home in Balwyn had an outdated kitchen that didn’t accommodate modern family life nor make the most of the pool and outdoor vista. By reconfiguring the kitchen and creating new full-height windows we were able the transform the impractical dark kitchen into this deceptively simple soft-green light-filled space. The central island creates a focal point for gathering as well as incredible benchtop space for cooking and food preparation. Gaggenau appliances, Dekton benchtops, lift-up overheads and a hide-away pantry ensure that practicality wasn’t compromised. A subtle, elegant and spacious outcome for the client.
